A family vacation minus the family logistics.

Your kids disappear on bikes with a pack of other kids. You sit by the fire with a beer and zero obligations. At some point everyone ends up at the pool. Nobody checks a schedule because there isn't one.

That's Camp Dad. Four days in Oregon where your partner gets a quiet house and you get to actually be there for your kid's first time kayaking a river, catching a fish, or staying up past bedtime around a campfire.

Fly into Redmond (RDM), 40 min from the resort. Commercial times include connections and drive. The resort has its own airstrip (S21) — charter flights land on-site.

Conversations worth having.

While your kids are off on a bike ride with the pack, you're in a room with a dozen dads who actually know what they're talking about. One morning it's a founder walking through how he uses AI to run a 50-person company. The next it's a psychologist explaining why your 7-year-old melts down at bedtime. Someone runs a mastermind. Someone else does a show-and-tell on a side project that makes everyone pull out a notebook.

A few sessions a day, maybe two hours total. The rest of the time you're with your kids.

Childcare Available

Childcare during sessions so you can actually be present.

Casual Format

Small groups, real talk. More fireside chat than TED talk.

Optional Everything

Skip any session. Go kayaking instead. Nobody's taking attendance.

All spots are by application. We'll follow up within 48 hours.

The stuff you're wondering.
Any age. The sweet spot is 4–16 — old enough to disappear on bikes with the other kids and show up sunburned at dinner. Younger kids are welcome too, they just need more hands-on dad time.
On you, which is actually a feature. Eleven restaurants on-site, a village with coffee and ice cream, and a grocery store if your kid only eats mac and cheese. We'll organize a few group dinners, but mostly you eat whatever works.
Yes. During the dad sessions, we'll have childcare so you're not half-listening while your 4-year-old climbs a chair. You can actually be present for the conversation.
Dads and kids only. That's the whole point. Your partner gets four days of silence, you get four days where nobody asks you to find the sunscreen. Everyone wins.
Chill. There's a loose schedule, but nothing is mandatory. Most of your time is unstructured — your kid wants to swim all day? Great. You want to golf while they're at the pool? Also great. The default mode is doing whatever sounds fun.
No. It's a dad trip with a few hours of good conversation mixed in. Your kids won't know the difference between this and a vacation. You'll just happen to have a few fireside chats that make it a write-off.
Fly into Redmond (RDM), 40 minutes from the resort — direct flights from Seattle, SF, LA, and Denver. The resort also has its own airstrip (S21) if you're chartering. Or drive from Portland in 3.5 hours. Once you're there, leave the car. Bikes are how everyone gets around.
